Bill Cannon is a native of Leesburg, Georgia and has been engaged in the practice of law for more than 30 years.  He focuses his practice in the area of civil litigation and has extensive experience in complex litigation.  Bill enjoys working closely with his clients in finding innovative solutions to the challenges they face.  He has a keen interest in professionalism and has been a keynote speaker for professionalism orientation programs at law schools.  Bill is an author of a variety of professional articles and presentations on the importance of professionalism in the practice of law.

Bill served as chair of the United Methodist Church’s Waynesville District Disaster Response Board  during its relief efforts following the floods of 2004.  He currently serves as treasurer of Step by Step, a Western North Carolina home repair and construction ministry.
